Evil I Tell You!

I consider myself a flexible person except for when it comes to certain things, such as some foods I'm very stubborn against trying them. Well last weekend I decided to be open-minded and do something that I've never done before. Going out on a suto date I decided to let him take me to his favorite Sushi bar, I don't like sushi but in all honesty I never tried it. So I thought I'd be SUPER good and go for it, me being super good because I don't like seafood unless it's a fish stick which most seafood lovers claim as not actually fish. So we sat down, and he grabbed me a little plate of soybeans [a first for me too, they weren't that bad]. Then he informed me on all the types of treats, and what's what as far as soy sauce, wasabi and ginger goes. He mixed a dish of wasabi and soy sauce while I tried eyeing something other then eel and other meats of the sea I was far from comfortable with. Option for some California rolls we split them, I had sure I had enough wasabi on it to help with the taste. All in all it wasn't horrid, though there was something in it that I didn't like . . . the crab, white fish or the salmon eggs I later discovered on the top. Then I saw these tasty looking rolls with cucumber and cream cheese with rice wrapped around it. Laying across the top was a slice of salmon. I like an occasional salmon so I opted for that one. The way it was positioned in my mouth I ended up eating the salmon last . . . it was slimy and I partially gagged at it. I'm a very texture oriented person. But I ate it down, drank some of my water and ate a few pods of soybeans and I was done.

1 week later I think that piece of salmon is still swimming around in my stomach . . . it makes me feel icky . . . I think the texture of it would be like eating a piece of raw liver . . .ewww . . . my tummy hurts.

Question of the Day: Do you think the more people who eat sushi the more steak it'll leave for me?
