| Grocery Store Cutie |
Yesterday I decided to tag along with my Mom as she went running around to various stores. Yes by tagging along I got a free lunch, clothes for my daughter and snagged a few things from Costco I'll eventually pay my mom back for . . . maybe ^_^ But the best thing was the last stop we made. The grocery store, where upon parking my eyes caught a cutie in the parking lot . . . we locked glances but nothing else. Then while scoping out the cup of Soups looking for the cheesy one who came strolling down the soup/chili/pasta aisle then the cutie from before. Yes we looked at each other again, but I was focused on my cheesy cup of soup that tastes more like mac & cheese. And he was scoping out what ever was on the shelf near me. Cause you know when searching for something on the shelf you have to stand on the opposite side of the aisle. Yes I was a happy little girl smiling about as we hit the register and I paid for my things. He was unloading his cart while we exited the store. No nothing happened, but seeing a cute guy is something enough.
Oh, I'm being so rude. Would you like a description? He was tall, around 6', dark tanned skin . . . American Indian or islander. Broad shoulders, medium brown hair that hung straight to about chin level, think there were lighter brown streaks in it to. He kind of had that surfer/skater look going for him. Did I mention that I have an American Indian thing? I blame Uncas from Last of the Mohicans, and a cutie I had a crush on in middle school.
It's all about stringing along the little things in life so they out weigh the bad. This is just another little happy thing to add on.
Question of the Day: Everyone says a grocery store is a great place to look for a date. But who actually gets a date at a grocery store? Yes my brother worked at Wal-Mart which is where he met his soon to be wife after this weekend. But that's just a regular Wal-Mart . . . I don't think that should count.

| Stress Building |
192 hours . . . 8 days till the start of the end, my brother's wedding celebration that is. Next Thursday is the Bachlorette Party, one said to be very tame compared to your typical tequila shots, limo, Spencer gifts and strippers. Which for once I'm thankful for . . . I was originally going to decline an invite . . . being the little sister of the groom I wanted to minimize the sexual themed pictures in my mind involving him. Yes I threw her one of two Bridal Showers but that's completely different, a Bachlorette party is the last day out with the girls as a Single Women . . . assumptions are made. But I've been promised that it'll be a typical Girl's Night Out & In with dinner, drinks and a hotel room to hangout in.
Since I plan to stay out late I already told my co-workers that I'll be taking Friday off. Which sadly won't be spent sleeping in . . . nope have to get to the Salon ASAP in the AM to get a Pedicure and Manicure before heading down south to help set-up the Church. Did I mention I had to pack to? Ya, we're staying down South from Friday till Sunday morning. Cause once we're done setting up the church there's the rehearsal . . . then the dinner . . . and then everyone has to try and get SOME sleep the night before. Cause we'll be up early to make the trip to the salon to get our hair done, make-up done and dress for photos by Noon. Yup they're going to get them done before the wedding . . . it does and doesn't make sense . . . the lesser of two evils I suppose. 10 bucks says I brake out the night before and for some un-godly reason get all bloated so I look horrid in all the pictures. Oh . . . did I mention I'm a bride's maid . . . might make some of the above make more sense. [giggles] but my daughter is the flower girl . . . she's so uber cute in her dress. AND her Cinderella shoes . . . they have sparkles and Cinderella's picture on the inside . . . got to love Halloween. I think there’s a standing bet on weather or not my daughter will walk down the aisle like she’s supposed to, she gets shy in groups. I’m in my daughter’s corner, that and she loves me the most and I’ll be at the end of the aisle where she needs to go [the benefit of being a bride’s maid . . that and an excuse to spend $265 on a fab dress . . . hee hee I got to pick it out]
I definitely sympathize with my brother and Taysia, I can start to feel the stress of their wedding . . . the things I have left to do before that day [get dress fitted, buy their gift, etc]. I couldn’t imagine the stress of the whole wedding . . . and the life altering event from their perspective. Then again my brother is used to planning things . . . it’ll be cool to see how it all goes.
We have standing date tonight, watching America’s Next Top Model, hey don’t laugh that shows promised quality time with my brother for the past two working on three seasons. And that’s saying a lot considering how busy he ALWAYS is.
[sigh] I think I’m more stressed now then when I started this little rant.
Question of the Day: If you knew what they made Lotion out of and it was something really gross would you still use it?
