I saw Harry Potter this weekend!! Friday to be exact, a 10:40 pm showing . . in hopes that the crowd was smaller and not containing so many little people. Add to the fact that I got to see it in a new theater, which was super spiffy looking surrounded by super nice shops . . . then add my Little Brother as my date and one regular sized Cappuccino Blast on an empty stomach and you have one fun night.
The movie was great, the 2-1/2 hours shot past without noticing the aches of sitting so long. It was weird to go to a movie where people cheer as the beginning and ending credits roll. As promised the movie was much darker then those previous, with an added note that each movie (as the books do) will get darker in theme. Which means my daughter will continue to enjoy the first two movies in whole, the third with her missing the Werewolf scenes and not a single frame of the fourth. Which after she saw the preview agreed that she didn't want to watch it.
I had a blast waiting in line for the movie, thankfully it was inside (it was freezing outside and I was wearing a skirt). But my little brother and I kept ourselves well entertained. I'm not sure if he was laughing at what I said or me, I think it was a mix. I have a habit of adding an excited butt wiggle to a subject I was excited about (can't recall what it was now).
In the end I ended-up kicking him out of my car at 2:20 am, it was nice talking and joking. I ended-up crawling in bed at 2:45, sadly I woken-up at 10:30 Saturday morning. The good thing is I won a free digital camera, just have to see a presentation for a time share or something.
Hmm, kind of ran out of steam it seems.
