| Everyday Phobias |
I know we all have those huge fears . .. dying, airplane crashes, drowning, being buried alive, spiders, car accidents . . . all those fun creepy things but that's not what I'm curious about. I want to know the little things. Me for example: At work there is this wall. It's a full wall, not a patrician. It divides the hallway in front of the bathroom blocking the view of the doors and water fountain from the view of the front door. Every time I walk by it I have this huge fear that I'm going to walk right into it one of these days. Maybe because it's white and only 4 inches wide set in the middle of a place I walk by multiple times during a day. But it's this constant concern. I stare it down as though it's going to physically move it's self into my path. I wonder if it's something that's happened in a dream that makes me cautious of it . . . or the fact that my shoulder has a habit of catching the corner of my cube wall and the bookcase up against it.
*Sigh* One of the many unsolved mysteries in my life.
Question of the Day: When you drink does dancing get you drunker (good English I know) by speeding up your heart or does it burn off the alcohol? |
