| Happiest Time of the Year |
You want to know what one of the benefits of being a single mom who rents her home? Aside from the lack of stress from lawn maintained and house maintenance every year something wonderful happens that allows me to be thankful about the stage I'm at in my life. It's called a Tax Refund, a cuddly-fuzzy return amount that will make my lonely bank account feel so much better about being attached to my name.
I did my taxed last weekend, was hoping for one amount and ended up with a little over double what I thought I'd get back. *does a little dance* It's a bummer that my bills are such a mess, if they weren't my return could go towards something nice like a vacation. *gitty moment* Could you imagine a vacation for just me and Anna. Paid for by myself, not my parents or anyone else. Something I could give my daughter just because, how many single mom's are allowed such a treasure. Heck I could fly us down to Disneyland (some place she tells me every other night that she wants to go). *jaw drops* Because of my wonderful new job it means that I could actually use my vacation time to go. A vacation I paid for myself while STILL getting paid. *Officially freaks out*
That's IT, I have to do that next year. Which means I have to be all over my bills between now and then. Be a good, well organized adult for 12 months and then come March 31st 2007 I can hand my daughter an envelope with two airplane tickets and passes to Disneyland . . . . yes my eyes are getting a little misty so what.
*Dances about like fool* |
