| It Starts |
It's started, the beginning of the end for me. It's slightly embarrassing to admit it but my DVD remote has been lost for coming up on a month. Anna and I have looked everywhere and still the damn thing alludes us, mocking me with the inability to fast forward or select anything on the menu aside from playing the movie. There was even a week where I had lost the remote to my TV/DVD/VCR combo in my room. I've since found it but it's never the end. In a 2 hour time period I lost my bedroom remote about 4 times. I think it's Alzheimer's setting in, pretty soon my family and loved ones will be forced to record videos for me to watch in order to remember my own daughter . . just like in the movie 60 First Dates.
You don't think my cats would have the ability to hide my remote do you? My final guess is that the remote is either lost in the ever shifting pile of clothes in front of my closet over flowing from baskets. Or it's in the natural disaster known as my daughter's room.
I really need to stick to the rules I set, where after I super clean the house her and I both make sure it's clean before we go to bed every night. Based on the principle it's easier to pick up a few things every day then to wait 1-2 weeks and spend a few hours cleaning.

P.S. As of last night I've managed to loose both my cordless phones . . . I have this fear in the pit of my stomach that both the phones are dead to. Which means paging them from the base won't help in tracking them down. |
