Game Plan
I plan on having a winning week, not the winning type of week where I get a ton accomplished. Like completely organizing my house, painting my room, re-painting my living room, finish painting my entry way and hall, not to mention get all my Christmas boxes in storage and giving my house a top to bottom scrubbing. Not that would be a dream, hmm, something I should really start working on before my apartment falls into the pig-sty category.

Anyways I plan on winning contests, though I always hope to win the Megabucks or the Lottery I don't expect that to happen this week since I didn't buy a ticket. But I did happen to win a weekend trip up to Vancouver BC as well as my choice of DVD player or digital camera. All I have to do is sit thru a presentation for Trendwest, a private hotel/resort group that my parent's are already part of. I also plan on winning a radio contest on Friday, which will take me and one lucky person down to Las Vegas for a weekend in February to catch Michael Buble in concert. I've actually never been to Vegas before, so a child-free weekend in the city of sin and kick-ass dance clubs has me absolutely gitty. Next week I plan on entering a contest that will win my daughter her very own portable DVD player (which we'll share) and 4 classic movies she's sure to love.

Oh on an unselfish note I've been scheming all week as to how to win my two best friends a contest that will give them $25,000 to put towards their wedding. Yup I'm heading to the NW Portland Bridal show, as Maid of Honor it's my duty to go look at all the pretty things, taste-test lots of cakes and allow some hair stylist to give me an up-do for free. Such a painful task, then again it means another bride's maid dress to buy . . . that could be a good or bad thing *crosses-fingers*.

*Giggles to self* I doubt this weekend will be as fun as the first Bridal show I went to. I had a high school friend who was getting married so she invited me and a few other girls to come with her. I in-turn brought a friend of mine, Rachel. We didn't want to be two girl's tagging along after a friend who was getting married (specially not being part of the bridal party). So we opted to try a little roll-play, we went around as though we were getting marries . . . to each other that is. We got lots of compliments and business cards, it was a hoot. Rae and I planned out the majority of our wedding, even having a little argument over some little detail. It makes me giggle just thinking about it *sigh* I miss her.

Question of the Day: Is it worth saving up the $150 to go see my favorite hair stylist, who I always leave looking fabulous. Or should I risk my hair and go see a stylist that will be cheaper but not really knowing their skill level?
