| Playing Catch-up [Part I] |
The Week Leading to Christmas:
Haa haa haa I have all my Christmas shopping done. Yup last Saturday, that leaves me the whole week to wrap presents. Oddly enough I spent the week buying replacement decorations for my tree and house rather then last minute gifts. Thankfully the Michael's was having a 50% off sale on all Holiday decor, though the pickings on boxed ornaments was very slim I found four boxes of ornaments that looked good together. The only sad note about it, Melman's going to look very Metro-sexual . . . yes the colors are various shades of pinks and mauves. But the important part is that Melman looks great and Anna got to help pick out the decorations. And in preparation for next Christmas I now have two lovely plastic totes with red and green lids for all my Christmas stuff. So finding it should be a ton easier come next year. Oh and why is it that it's the last minute strand of lights you add to the tree, you know the ones you forgot to check before you wrapped them around tree limbs . . . why is it those ones that have the short in it? |
